Coming home
to a body
that feels safe.
You carry so much and maybe too much.
The sleep that no longer restores.
The mind that won't slow down.
A body held in alarm for so long it has forgotten it can rest.
I'm a practitioner specializing in nervous system regulation for Black, Indigenous and women of color who have been carrying overload for far too long.

I'm Coryse Mwape

I'm a Reiki Master Teacher and certified Sophrologist, with a degree in African art history. I work with women — especially Black, Indigenous and women of color, and women of the African diaspora — who have been holding so much for so long that they can barely breathe. My approach weaves together Reiki, sophrology (breathing techniques), essential oils, and a deep attunement to the cultural and embodied realities my clients live with every day. This is a grounded, conscious space — one that honors everything you carry.

Where do you want to begin?
Care designed for you.
Energy practices are often taught in spaces that don't hold our histories, our lived experiences, our bodies.
My approach is conscious. It honors your culture, your sensitivity, your right to practice and your right to receive.
This is a space where you don't have to translate what you're going through. A space where you are expected, exactly as you are.

I really appreciate the individual Reiki/Sophrology sessions, as I'm confronted with my personal issues and I feel completely safe and secure there. Thank you, Coryse, for highlighting all these beautiful and essential things in life. It helps a lot ;)
