Authentic, ethical, and profound Reiki
I teach Usui Reiki Ryoho in the direct lineage of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai in Tokyo, founded by Mikao Usui Sensei (1865–1926). My lineage traces back to the seven successive presidents of the Gakkai — Jusaburo Ushida, Kanichi Taketomi, Yoshiharu Watanabe, Hoichi Wanami, Kimiko Koyama, and Masayoshi Kondo (current president) — the authentic Japanese branch, preserved in Japan despite the postwar American occupation, and distinct from the Western branch, Usui Shiki Ryoho.

A pedagogy based on three dimensions
To understand
Reiki has a history, cultural and religious contexts, evolutions and multiple interpretations.
I suggest we approach this story with curiosity and a critical mind, without seeking to erase the spiritual dimension of Reiki or to attribute to it what historical sources do not allow us to affirm.
Understand before you join.
Experiment
Reiki cannot be learned solely from books.
Personal practice, bodily experiences, periods of silence, exchanges and practice sessions gradually allow one to build knowledge that is not only theoretical.
Experiment to understand differently.
Integrate
Training does not end when the internship ends.
Learning needs time to become a personal practice.
This is why Amani training courses include periods of integration, practice and sharing spread over several months.
Practice to become self-reliant.

Valérie
My time with Coryse was a crossing of a threshold. She guided me, every step of the way. From the ample resources and enlightening structure from which to ground and root into, Coryse made herself available. I look forward to continuing my reiki journey with her and I progress in mine. I am deeply grateful and in reverence to this new energy in my life.
